About this workshop
This introductory course in robotics and programming allows children to discover the technologies of the future in a hands-on and fun way. Working in groups, participants assemble their own mBot robot step by step before bringing it to life using the mBlock software. Through interactive challenges involving movement and sensors, they instantly understand how virtual code interacts with the real world.
Learning Objectives
- Demystifying technology: Understanding how a robot works (the connection between sensors, the processor, and actuators).
- Fostering collaboration: Learning to work in pairs to build and solve problems using an engineering approach.
- Stimulating critical and logical thinking: Translating logical ideas into precise movement algorithms.
Terms & Prerequisites
- No technical prerequisites required: This workshop is designed specifically for curious beginners.
- Equipment provided: mBot robots and laptops equipped with the mBlock environment will be made fully available during the workshop.
